Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month when people all over the world show their support for people affected by breast cancer.

It also serves as a reminder for women, to be screened in the hope that by doing so, early detection will lead to more positive outcomes, in the fight against breast cancer.

To raise funds and raise awareness for breast cancer, various events around the world are organised every October. These include sponsored walks and runs, as well as the illumination of landmark buildings in pink.

Take a look at the Breast Cancer Now’s website here for fundraising ideas. See how you can get involved with Wear It Pink Day on 22nd October.
