Microsuction earwax removal uses a vacuum to safely remove any excess wax gently from both blocked ears.
Microsuction is the most effective service for cleaning your ears
If no ear wax is found, there is a £25 charge for the nurse’s appointment and £50 for a GP appointment.

Treatments
Please ensure you soften the earwax for at least 7 days prior to your appointment. You can do this using olive oil, the Earol ear spray, or over-the-counter ear drops. The procedure cannot be carried out without this prior preparation.
Kindly note that children 12 years and older can be seen for Microsuction. Bookings for children 12 years and older must be made with a GP.

You may be experiencing earache, itchiness, ear infections, hearing loss, tinnitus, or dizziness.
If you are unsure, please book a nurse or GP consultation with one of our team who will be able to give you an ear check-up and advise.
The ear care and ear cleaning appointment will take around 20 minutes. Both ears will be examined prior to any ear wax removal by our clinical team. Our team will go through the procedure and ask you to sign a consent form.
The ear wax will be removed safely and gently, protecting the eardrum. The clinician will check your ears after the wax has been removed and then discharge you.

Ear wax can build up in our ears due to the use of ear plugs, hearing aids, regular use of cotton buds to clean the ears, natural excessive ear wax production, getting older, producing hard/dry wax, or change in the shape of the ear canal.
Microsuction is a simple, safe and painless procedure of removing ear wax from the ear canal using a small vacuum tube.
