Medical Screen 1

Medical Screen 1 is a comprehensive and accurate way to detect illnesses early. By analysing specific markers present in the blood, we can quickly identify infections, organ dysfunction, metabolic disorders, and other medical abnormalities. This early detection enables timely treatment and better patient outcomes.

£96

Medical Screen 2

This test includes all the tests in Medical Screen 1, including advanced diagnostic blood testing that offers a comprehensive analysis of key biomarkers to provide detailed insights into your health.

£124

Tired Screen

The Tired Screen test is a blood test that can help identify the underlying causes of excessive tiredness or fatigue. It is a valuable tool for individuals who are experiencing symptoms such as excessive tiredness or fatigue, general weakness, poor concentration, muscle aches and pains, pale skin, hair loss and mood changes.

£206

Anaemia Screen

An anaemia test is conducted to detect low levels of haemoglobin in the blood. Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough healthy red blood cells. Red blood cells carry oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body. When there are not enough red blood cells, the body does not get enough oxygen. This can lead to a variety of symptoms, including fatigue, breathlessness, decreased energy levels, faintness, pale skin, headaches, loss of appetite and weight loss.

£150

Bone Health

A bone test is a blood test that can be used to assess the health and strength of your bones. It is particularly useful for detecting conditions like osteoporosis, which can weaken bones and make them more likely to break. The bone test measures a variety of substances in the blood, including Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin D and Parathyroid hormone.

These substances are involved in the process of bone formation and maintenance. If levels of these substances are abnormal, it may be a sign of a bone disorder.

£126

Diabetes Screen

A diabetes test is a blood test that can be used to diagnose diabetes, a condition in which the body has high levels of blood sugar (glucose). Symptoms of diabetes include increased thirst, frequent urination (especially at night), unexplained weight loss, persistent fatigue, slow-healing sores, blurred vision or itching in the genital area or recurrent yeast infections.

These symptoms occur because the body cannot effectively use glucose for energy. In people with diabetes, the body either does not produce enough insulin or cannot use insulin effectively.

£58

Thyroid Health

A thyroid test is a blood test that can be used to assess the function of the thyroid gland and diagnose thyroid disorders. The thyroid plays a crucial role in regulating metabolism, growth, development, and energy utilisation in the body.

Early signs and symptoms of thyroid dysfunction can be nonspecific. Common symptoms of hypothyroidism include unexplained weight gain, dry skin, feeling cold, puffy skin, hair loss, and fatigue. Signs and symptoms of hyperthyroidism may include a fast heart rate, anxiety, unexplained weight loss, feeling hot, hand tremors, bulging or dry eyes, and difficulty sleeping (insomnia).

£60

Full Blood Count

A full blood count (FBC) test is a comprehensive blood test that can be used to assess a person's overall health. It measures the number and type of cells in the blood, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. The FBC test can be used to diagnose or monitor a variety of conditions, including anemia, infections, and leukemia. Symptoms requiring an FBC may include fatigue, pale skin, shortness of breath, fever, chill, unexplained weight loss, swollen lymph nodes, easy bruising, bleeding gums or frequent infections. This test can help to assess your overall health and detect any abnormalities or disorders.

Female Hormone Health

A female hormone test is a blood test that can be used to identify potential hormone imbalances that can impact fertility, mood, weight, and energy levels. There are many different hormones that can be affected by imbalances, including oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and thyroid hormones.

When hormone levels are out of balance, it can lead to a variety of symptoms, including menstrual changes, such as irregular periods or heavy bleeding, weight gain, acne, hair loss, low energy levels, anxiety/depression, muscle weakness. The female hormone health test helps to identify hormone imbalances that may be contributing to these symptoms and allows for appropriate treatment or intervention.

£100

Male Hormone Health

A male hormone health test is a blood test that can be used to assess the levels of hormones, primarily testosterone, which play a crucial role in various bodily functions in males. Testosterone is responsible for supporting sperm production, a healthy sex drive, and maintaining muscle strength and mass.

Low levels of testosterone can lead to symptoms such as lack of energy, fatigue, hair loss, decreased sex drive, erectile dysfunction, anxiety/depression, and increased body fat. The male hormone health test helps to identify hormone imbalances that may be contributing to these symptoms and allows for appropriate treatment or intervention.

£100

Cholesterol Screen

A cholesterol test is a blood test that can be used to assess a person's risk of developing cardiovascular disease. Cardiovascular disease is a group of diseases that affect the heart and blood vessels. There are two main types of cholesterol, called low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol (often called "bad" cholesterol), because it can build up in the arteries and lead to a heart attack or stroke, and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol (often called "good" cholesterol) because it helps to remove LDL cholesterol from the arteries.

A cholesterol test measures the levels of LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, and total cholesterol. There are a number of factors that can increase your risk of developing cardiovascular disease, including high blood pressure, smoking, obesity, diabetes or a family history of cardiovascular disease.

£40

Kidney Screen

A kidney function test is a blood test that can be used to assess the health of the kidneys by measuring the levels of creatinine, urea, and potassium in the blood. Creatinine is a waste product that is produced by the muscles. Urea is a waste product that is produced by the liver and Potassium is an electrolyte that is important for muscle function and nerve conduction.

High levels of creatinine, urea, or potassium in the blood can indicate that the kidneys are not working properly. Other symptoms of kidney problems include blood in the urine, painful urination, frequent urination, swelling of the feet and hands, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting or shortness of breath.

£55

Liver Screen

A liver function test is a blood test that can be used to assess the health of the liver. The liver performs many important functions, including metabolism, detoxification, digestion and storage of nutrients. A liver function test measures the levels of proteins, enzymes, and bilirubin in the blood. These substances are produced by the liver and can be used to assess the liver's function.

High or low levels of these substances can indicate that the liver is not working properly. Other symptoms of liver problems include fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain or jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes).

£40

Vitamin and Mineral Screen

A vitamin and mineral test is a blood test that can be used to assess the levels of essential vitamins and minerals in the body. These nutrients are necessary for a variety of bodily functions, including metabolism, bone health, immune function, nervous system function and red blood cell production.

Vitamin and mineral deficiencies can lead to a variety of health problems, including fatigue, weakness, heart palpitations, irritability, depression, mouth ulcers and increased susceptibility to infections. The test aims to identify any deficiencies in vitamins or minerals, allowing for appropriate interventions such as dietary adjustments or supplementation to restore optimal nutrient levels and promote overall health.

£150

HbA1c

The HbA1c test, also known as glycosylated haemoglobin, measures glucose levels in the blood over a span of 2 to 3 months. Unlike a regular blood test, this test provides an average blood sugar level and is unaffected by short-term fluctuations. It indicates how well an individual has maintained stable blood sugar levels over time.

The HbA1c test is a valuable tool for identifying pre-diabetes or diagnosing diabetes. If the test results show a high percentage, it indicates a pre-diabetic condition, and in some cases, it can lead to a diagnosis of diabetes. By measuring the attachment of glucose to haemoglobin in red blood cells, the HbA1c test provides insights into long-term blood sugar control and helps assess an individual's overall diabetic status.

£40

AMH

Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) test is a blood test that measures the levels of anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH), a hormone produced by the small follicles in a woman's ovaries. AMH is used as a marker of oocyte quantity.

AMH levels decline with age, and AMH blood tests are valuable in assessing a woman's ovarian reserve, or the number of remaining follicles capable of producing eggs. The AMH blood test is valuable in assessing whether the hormone levels are normal for a person's age.

£100

Vitamin D

A vitamin D blood test measures the levels of vitamin D in your bloodstream. Vitamin D is an essential nutrient that plays a crucial role in various bodily functions, including bone health, immune system function and the absorption of calcium. This test helps determine if you have sufficient levels of vitamin D in your body.

Low levels of vitamin D can lead to a variety of health issues, such as weak bones, muscle weakness, increased susceptibility to infections, and fatigue. On the other hand, excessively high levels of vitamin D can also have adverse effects. This test is particularly important for individuals who may be at higher risk of vitamin D deficiency, such as those with limited sun exposure, older adults, people with darker skin tones, individuals with certain medical conditions, or those who follow restrictive diets.

£65

Vitamin B12

A vitamin B12 test is a blood test that measures the levels of vitamin B12 in the body. Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient that is needed for a variety of bodily functions, including red blood cell production, nerve function, metabolism and DNA synthesis.

Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to a number of health problems, including aneamia, fatigue, weakness, numbness and tingling in the hands and feet, irritability, depression, memory problems and difficulty concentration. The test helps to identify any deficiencies in vitamin B12, enabling appropriate interventions such as dietary changes or supplementation to address the deficiency and alleviate associated symptoms.
