Dr. Puru Kaushik

General Dentistry, Endodontist Special Interest

Dr. Puru Kaushik qualified in 2008 from Barts And The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. He has worked across a variety of roles in general NHS and private dental practice and also in community dentistry. He has also been involved in the training of newly qualified dentists in the Oxford Dental Deanery since 2016.

Over the years he has developed interests in aesthetic orthodontics and rehabilitation of worn teeth. However, his main passion has been in endodontics (root canal treatments) and has been accepting referrals for challenging root treatments for a few years. To consolidate this, he embarked on an MSc degree in this speciality from King’s College London, achieving his masters degree in endodontics with distinction in 2024. 

He is a believer in minimally invasive dentistry, and being as gentle as possible in the provision of root canal treatments. 

Outside of dentistry he is a keen musician/ multi-instrumentalist, and is kept very busy with his young family!
