Dr John Ahn

Dr John Ahn is a Consultant Orthodontist with extensive experience in specialist orthodontic care.

He completed his consultant orthodontic training at Guy’s Hospital and the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, and was awarded Fellowship in Dental Surgery (FDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2021.

Prior to this, he completed his specialist orthodontic training at Guy’s Hospital and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, obtaining Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2019. He also completed an MSc in Orthodontics at King’s College London, graduating with Distinction.

Dr Ahn graduated from Newcastle University in 2009. Prior to orthodontics, he gained valuable experience through Dental Core Training posts in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry.

Alongside his clinical qualifications, Dr Ahn holds Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, reflecting his broad foundation in general dental practice and commitment to professional development.

Dr Ahn has a strong interest in clinical research and has contributed to numerous publications and presentations at national and international conferences. His work has been recognised with awards including 2nd Prize for the UTG Presentation at the British Orthodontic Conference in 2019, and selection among the top-scoring scientific e-poster abstracts at the European Orthodontic Society Congress in 2025.
