Dr Tamryn Renwick

Senior Clinical Psychologist

Dr Tamryn Renwick is a highly qualified and experienced clinical psychologist with a deep understanding of the complex psychological issues that her patients face. She understands that life’s unpredictability can often greatly impact a person and is deeply invested in helping her patients navigate the complexities of life, ultimately helping them work towards achieving their goals. Her areas of interest are varied and include trauma and complex trauma, PTSD, attachment difficulties, and a wide range of anxiety-related conditions such as phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and panic disorder.

She is also experienced in working with patients who are dealing with depression, bereavement, workplace stress, and burnout, and and is a sexual minority and consensual non-monogamy friendly clinician.

Says Dr Renwick, ‘There are many things that I love about being a psychologist. Seeing a patient better understand their difficulties, including what has caused them and what is keeping them going, is hugely rewarding and is often the thing that patients value most about therapy.’

As a psychologist, Dr Renwick finds great reward in helping her patients better understand their difficulties and in seeing them make progress towards a better quality of life and says that therapy can be a powerful tool in achieving this goal. She approaches each patient with thought and consideration, believing that collaboration with her patients will help them to identify their goals. She understands that each person’s journey is unique and that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to mental health concerns, which is why she takes a holistic approach to therapy, tailoring her methods to each patient’s individual needs, circumstances, and goals.

Dr Renwick’s personal interests include a love of the outdoors and spending time with her beloved dog, Edith, whom she loves to take for walks. She believes that self-care is an essential part of maintaining good mental health and enjoys doing yoga, creating art, and playing board games in her free time.
